Eugene needs a damn assistant!!! I volunteer But seriously. I think it would be really worth it for eugene to have someone to do the cooking, cleaning, errands, etc. He has alot more work to deal with. VIDEO IDEA! EUGENE TRYS HAVING A VALET!!!
I have the same red plant but mine is not looking that healty so i looked at her plant the whole video and just made myself feel bad. Gotta watch the video again now
as a 54 yr old woman I am proud of the way you gents carry yourselves. the honest and open way you deal with your lives is impressive… keep it up /hugs
This might be a weird thing to say, but I feel like if Ned weren’t already a wonderful/ devoted husband I feel like him and Kati would be super compatible lmao
This was such a helpful video. I saw myself in all four of them and it’s refreshing to see them not in their “Try Guy” mode and just as a working individual. Makes it really relatable and felt like such a safe space to talk openly about everything.
Keeping your feelings in until they explode is not healthy, but as someone who's followed the Try Guys since their inception, I'm just so happy that Eugene is TALKING to his friends! This is such a breakthrough! I'm so glad he feels comfortable enough to share his feelings with them!
I didn't think I would relate to Eugene. I was also a time bomb in the past. I would hold everything in until finally I would snap. Thankfully, I don't do that anymore. I'm more vocal about what goes on my mind. That really helps.
I feel Zack on a personal level. I have to actually speak my problems out loud in order for me to process them. I've never heard of anyone else doing the same thing.
Hi Kati! I just wanna say I appreciate what you do. Mental health is always important, but most people push that away because they don't see the importance of it. Thank you Kati! Keep up the great work!
I love that Zach acknowledged that he was about to speak on Eugene's behalf and stopped. Some more outgoing people or exuberant people don't notice that they're doing that and he did before he really even got started. <3 makes my heart happy. I go back and forth being the talkative one leading the conversation and the quiet one being talked about.
This was so cool, I love the try guys. Kati is so sweet and so good at what she does. I adore how she is bringing this kind of content to youtube I think it could help alot of people.
I really love seeing this. 4 Men, all very different from each other who you see very comfortable in their own selves, and have such a large fanbase, getting therapy and showing it and talking about it and normalizing it. I really hope that the men who watch this see how important and cathartic therapy can be. And to those men that still hold onto that toxic masculinity, its not any less manly to go to therapy. It really takes strength to open up to someone. And im especially proud of Eugene. Im very empathetic like an empath and sometimes its so hard watching Eugene because i can just FEEL his need to open up but he cant. So i love seeing him do that even a little bit or know that he opens up just in general even if its all in one spurt. I just love these guys so much! Gives me hope for men
Holy hell, listening to Eugene does to be his time bomb tendecies….same. it suuuucks. I have learned to let out mini rants as a way to combat it, sarcastic, humor laced mini rants of the current annoying moment. Seems to help keep the big explosions at bay. 🤷♀️
I’d love you to educate people on how running on stress for a length of time can manifest as physical pain and lead to long term illnesses like fibromyalgia. I think our society values being busy and being stressed so much that we don’t realize how fight or flight leads to central sensitization.
I've been getting this weird feeling that something is going on with Eugene and the rest of them. Like I felt like Eugene has been distancing himself from the rest of the guys. Like even in this video his body language is off. I'm really happy that they all talked about his sleeping issues and being irritable. I hope whatever is really going on they're able to work thru it and that Eugene is able to overcome whatever is happening in his life.
Honestly the most impactful moment was at 5:46 when Zach is about to start speaking on behalf Eugene, pauses and is like "do you mind me speaking about your stressors?" and then Eugene's like, yeah I can say something about what I experience, which was just a reminder to me of my bad habit of speaking on my best friend's behalf and explaining their experiences to other people for them instead of letting them speak on them. This was a good reminder to not announce other people's intentions or act like I can speak on their behalf about my friends experiences just because we are close. Respect your friends y'all! Let your friends speak for themselves!
Should we talk about the elephant in the room: Eugene. Just my interpretation, I could be wrong! I think he feels left out of the conversation. Yes he's more observant and introverted and there's a huge misunderstanding and discrimination against introverts, don't get me started on that. But there's more to it. Personality wise, racial/cultural differences, different childhood experience (appears to have gone through abuse which is normalized in our Asian cultures), and sexual orientation so he is quite the contrast with the others. He's also far more talented in other areas where he doesn't truly get to shine here. His directorial music video was gory but fantastic. I am only observing him because I have been in that position in many instances where the bonding just seems to be out of formality rather than true interest. The group keeps piling the blame on Eugene that he doesn't open up, but it's also obvious that the other guys also don't open up to Eugene on a deeper level either. It's superficial. Whereas the bond between Zach and Keith is out of real interest, not for diversity points. I don't think the other guys can relate a lot with Eugene since they don't have a similar experience to resonate with. It appears to be a more professional relationship for diversity points. To be honest, I think Buzzfeed added Eugene in the group to add diversity so it didn't appear to be "4 white guys hanging out in their insular bubble," and they realize the value of this because kicking Eugene out now would cause a stir in their audience. But it is obvious that he doesn't fit in with the group.
Really loved this video's dynamic — I do wish they talked about Keith's stressors a little but more, because his weren't mentioned much. It's interesting how Keith, the self-proclaimed narcissist of the group, talked about himself the least.
This collab was needed in a very bad way. Once they got started, I think Kati got exactly 29 words in 😂😂 I really hope it helped with the stress between them. Was I the only one who felt the ❤ in this video?!
