Should I Learn Kung Fu or Muay Thai?

Should I learn Kung Fu or Muay Thai? At least if you learn Kung Fu, people will
have an idea what you are talking about. I remember the Kung Fu wild west show, but
I think the younger people only know if from Kung Fu Panda. Learn Muay Thai, and they won’t know if
that is a language or cooking class. Why is Muay Thai becoming popular then? Muay Thai is a martial art that uses striking
and wrestling like moves to create a form of boxing that uses both the upper and bottom
parts of the body. That’s like mixed martial arts. Actually, mixed martial arts or MMA is pretty
much a rip off of Muay Thai and Thai fighting. So Muay Thai is MMA. It was the basis of MMA, but you can use any
fighting style you like in the ring. Hence the “mixed” part of the name. Which one do you think is better to learn? Learning Muay Thai is a quick learn relative
to Kung Fu, which is good if you need to learn self defense quickly. What makes Kung Fu popular? They think it will give the superpowers from
Shaolin Buddhism. The Buddhists imagine that it gives you inner peace, a third eye, ultra-fast
reflexes and better karma. It also has a lot of cool moves. Whether you want to learn to defend yourself
or beat someone in the ring, you have to be able to strike quick and hard. If I really want to be quick and hard, I’d
get a gun. That would take down an attacker a lot more
effectively than trying to kick him in the groin before he gets you. And Kung Fu has
a lot of moves that require perfect circumstances to use, so you learn a lot you can’t always
use when your life depends on it. Muay Thai then sounds like the better choice. Or a CHL permit, or at least a can of mace.
