So we’re at my gym Transform. Just going to
take you on a quick tour. If you look right here, we’ve got some medicine balls. We like
to use these for all kinds of different strength and performance reactive training. Core training
as well. This is a cable cross. We have two of them. There are just very useful in all
kinds of functional training movement patterns, which is really what I like to emphasize.
More functionally your movements are in your body, just the better you’re able to managing
day to day life. This is steps we do for, or benches we do for various types of agility
and reactive, and plow metric type movements. We have lots of different stabilizing bosous
and fitness balls. These are all your standard dumbbells, we like to sue again for slightly
more challenging functional movements. This is a spin bike right here. It’s a great piece
of cardio equipment to use. When done properly, provides a fantastic cardiovascular exercise.
This is a type of treadmill right here. It mimics kind of walking in the sand. It’s really
fun to use. There’s two tracks that will move up and down, and quite like walking in the
sand in bare feet minus there’s no sand and ocean next to you. This is a normal treadmill
right here. This, a fantastic piece of cardiovascular equipment. If used properly you can get such
a great workout just by walking correctly on the treadmill. It’s thought of as the best
movement for the body. Just proper bio-mechanics when walking. That’s what I want to help in
part today. Just some simple fitness balls right here again. And then, one of my favorite
objects right over here would be this foam roll. And in a later series we’ll discuss,
this is one of the best stretching techniques.
