I was practically born into martial arts specifically, Aikido.
My father, uncles and cousins all practiced Aikido at the time I was born.
I always looked with curiosity at my father practicing and it was with a great emotion that I stepped on the mat for the 1st time at the age of six. (Uke: M° Arnaldo Ramazzin) It was a class for adults and there were no children classes, so my Aikido career was short-lived: it lasted only a few lessons. But as soon as I was old enough, the way of harmony was a natural choice for me. I have been a student of my father for many years then, growing in age and grade, I wanted to explore the wide world of Aikido. In the following years I had the chance to meet Teachers with whom I shared positive and formative experiences. Years ago, still moved by the same desire for learning, knowledge and research in Aikido, I attended a seminar to meet sensei Daniel Toutain. I was impressed in many ways but two above all: first, what he said had a way of resonating resonating with me, and second, I was fascinated by the elegance in his practice. After that meeting I decided to become his student and attend his seminars in Europe and beyond to learn from him as much as I could. I practiced with Daniel Toutain Sensei in seminars, uchi-deshi and summer camps and every time, his explanations were enlightening. At 28, I understood that my life would be on the mat and I decided to open a private Dojo to become a professional Aikido teacher. So, I started on the path that would lead me to my goal, a path that no one I knew had ever walked before. When I returned from my first trip to Japan, in Iwama, with a pioneer’s spirit I decided to leave my job and dedicate my time and efforts to my passion and to reaching my goal. Finally, three years ago determination and perseverance bore their fruit. In fact, I succeded in bulding and opening my professional dojo during this time, that seed planted when I was six matured, the absence of children classes prompted me to creat the first practical and theoretical method for teachers who work, or wish to work, with the youngest. First and, to my knowledge, unique the Aiki-Game method became also a book, my first publication. After years of practice, study and continuous research, while continuing to consider myself a student, I bring to my classes for students and teachers 25+ years of experience and daily practice offering high-level education during the seminars seminars and the techer-dedicated classes I regularly hold, both in my own dojo and around Italy. Every day I spend time training on and off the mat in the daily practice of the Way of Harmony Wanomichi Besides the beloved Aikido I practice other disciplines which I find closely connected Ashtanga yoga and macrobiotics. All three of these disciplines aim to find balance between two principles yin and yang, full and empty, irimi and tenkan and all three aim to make people better. Finally, ethical and sustainable choices are a compass in everyday life. Fully taking up the philosophy of Wanomichi I’ve enriched classes and seminars with specific exercises selected with Aikido in mind the goal is to secure the principles of the practice and make the body flexible and reactive. Quality, precision, drive and coherence are what I seek and bring to all my activities from the most complex techniques to the simple gestures of daily life.
