Can 1 man defeat 20? πŸ‘πŸ‘ Action Tropes (Iron Fist, Bruce Lee, John Wick)

– What’s up guys? Do you ever find yourself
watching your favorite action movie and when you’re
watching the fight scenes, you just go to yourself hmm, that wouldn’t really happen would it? Those are called bad action tropes and today is all about
having fun and making fun. (children cheering) The first that always gets me
is one guy fighting a bunch of people and not getting his ass kicked. Let’s jump right in and look at the biggest offender of
this movie trope, Bruce Lee. When I watched this when I
was little I was impressed but watching it when
I’m older is hilarious. (cheerful hip hop music)
(shouts loudly) Oh,
(bleep). That’s gonna hold everybody back. How is he gonna get out of this? Taking off your shirt gets you +10 strength of course.
(chime) (cheerful hip hop music)
(shouts) Ha! Same hook kick, just
hook kick everybody. (exclaims) (smacking) (exclaims) Okay, obviously, Bruce Lee is a badass and obviously he can obviously
hold off 30 people by himself. Super believable. Alright now let’s jump to John Wick’s shootout in the house. Now I’m probably gonna
get some (bleep) for this, but let’s see what happens. (gunfire) Where is everybody at this point? (shattering) Nobody heard what was going on. There’s a giant glass that broke. I wonder where John Wick is. And why do all these guys
have the same hairdo? Oh snap! Oh! Oh no! Just
gotta Judo through everybody. (cheerful music) (slow sad music) So so far what we’ve got is if you’re gonna be fighting a
bunch of bad guys by yourself, make sure you have a good hook
kick and some judo throws. And that’s all you need to do. Jumping ahead, let’s go to my favorite action
series in the entire world. Obviously this actor took
a lot of time to train, obviously he went to
all of the rehearsals, and obviously that’s
why it looks like this. This is gonna be the coolest
action scene you’ve ever seen. Oh no!
(grunting) Let’s watch that again. Okay now my biggest question is how does this first guy
even get knocked out. Watch. Oh shit, he fell to the ground! And this guy misses a
punch, got spun around, hit his head off on the wall. Obviously good knockout moves. What we’re learning from here is you’ve gotta know a lot of spins and look like you can’t even
move your head all at once. Just gotta, move around
like you’re in one piece. Very good, very good way to fight a
bunch of bad guys by yourself. This was my favorite part right here. (grunts) Iron Fist is the badass
that we all think he is, and that’s why he’s able
to take out five guards by himself by spinning
a little bit awkwardly. So what did we learn today? Whenever you’re taking on bad guys, make sure you have a good hook kick, (grunts) make sure you can throw people with Judo, (quiet grunt) and make sure you move
around kind of awkwardly. So those are the three tips you guys need. You’re welcome, I’m teaching you how to do
fight choreography right now, obviously. Now you’re ready to go and take out your first group of bad guys. Let me know how it goes. Next time, we’re gonna review my favorite. But until then, if you wanna know how to
actually do fight scenes, make sure you check
out my tutorial series. And I’ll see you on the next video. Peace! (rhythmic hip hop music)
