  • Hey dan,
Would you mind doing a video on how to start out on high ticket sales, how to find clients and where to begin. That would be much appreciated as it is a practical way to get started.
    Thanks

Hell yeah! Didn't think I could like your content more but as someone who studied JKD myself, I'm hitting the notification button. 👌

  • Sweet stuff Sifu! Awesome collaboration! Bringing the power up from the ground and utilizing your hip to transfer that power while keeping the balance. It's so hard to do.

  • That was amazing! Dan, I just discovered you recently and saw your playlist on investing like a millionaire, blew my mind, especially the wealth triangle, thank you so much Dan. I had just one doubt..

How do you suggest a young mentee of yours decide which high income skill to learn? I'm in college right now for engineering but I don't want to make a career in that, I started learning digital marketing, even got a client for now but it doesn't excite me as much when I started learning it 8 months ago.

    Thanks for reading this 😀

  • Good examples of relaxation then exploding into punch. It is funny how just starting with relaxed fist, you can shoot it fwd while squeezing it into impact can generate force in just a few inches of space. Then practicing adding the sinking into the punch. Then after doing that several times add the quick step or a rotation, or even both. Like when a skilled boxer has a hand up, then just whips the fist and hip into a powerful hook punch, body works together.

That is a beautiful floor in your apartment there. And a beautiful view. Thank you for the educational content as well as your enthusiasm to promote JKD concepts. Octavio has a lot of knowledge and describes techniques well, but I think it would help more if he would look at the camera more often, it shows he is talking to the viewers and connects better with them that way.

Sometimes it can make one nervous getting in front of cameras, but it helps to pretend that you are talking to friends. 🙂

  • JKD is a mindset, what works for one may not work for another. take what you understand and works for you then incorporate it into your skill set

  • God damn this channel is amazing… Ill watch these video too but definitely wish to see more business videos

  • Karate is close to jkd shotokan ı mean but ıts faster in karate to punch and ıf you miss the punch you can get back so its not a big problem

  • But, in "Tao of JKD" Bruce Lee was talking about how if you turn your whole body the enemy will have less targeting space, because you are becoming a straight line and you can propel yourself with the leg that stays in the back. I never got to finish it, tho. Maybe I missed something.

  • This never meant to be an attack by itself, rather a distraction for the side kick. Thats why he did it in that sideways stance.
What you have done is to mix the weakest punch in boxing with wing chun, and the result is a technique that lacks power.

  • Bruce could knock a man out with his lead right hand, there is very few people on this planet who are capable of achieving power like that , that's why Dan inosanto trains most of his students using the weakest hand forward
