Hey dan lok i hope u read my comments yeeyah
I love this!!!!!
DAN What do u think about BJJ? Is it most effective martial art?
Dan i love that animated intro , Whoever made that did a very good job
Dan your content is amazing. Not only your a awesome entrepreneur and great mentor for the people.
Excellent video what about stretching exercises for legs before kicking?
Bruce Lee. Youtube Master Wong you guys should get together and try some excercises.
8 tkd kickers didn't like this ;lol !
Dan: I’ve been watching and thoroughly enjoying your JKD and Wing Chun videos. You’ve been mostly focused on technique. I would be very interested in a video on something a little more sophisticated and what really makes all this stuff work: timing and distance control. I’m sure Joe Lewis and probably Ted Wong had a lot to say on those subjects. It’d be great to hear what your and Sifu Quintero’s thoughts are on the subject.
He's a good balet dancer. 🙂
Very nice video
Eagerly waiting for your video
Question…you just took your shot at the bad guy and the guy falls backwards and cracks his head on the sidewalk. What do you do now? Run? Run while calling 911? Stay with him and wait for the cops and call 911? What do you suggest?
Y don't sifu Octavia demonstrate with out his shirt like Bruce in the picture behind him
Dan, i dont hv any jkd or wing chun institute in my area, no one to practice with, and no wooden dummy too. Do u hv a idea on how i practice trapping. I mean i cn practice my form, but how do i practice trapping techniques solo
Awesome vid as always Dan
I love to see you do videos you care about personally. Like thats what you're supposed to do, right – living YOUR life. Its YOUR channel. Everybody that doesn't enjoy a little of JKD doesn't appreciate you and can fvck off for sure!Love seeing you do you. Lots of love from Germany!
Cool good practice
I like this part of your channel, i practice karate shotokan, what I have discovery it's necessary to practice for one completely hour one technique for at least one time at day. In my opinion would be nice if you have the opportunity to upload meditation techniques at least one time at month
The last excersize seems isometric like Bruce loved. He had one for punches where you push against a wall for a few seconds at the various extensions of the punch.
Really awesome video thanks dan and sifu octavio
Do you think uploading JKD videos on weekends will reach out to more people? I certainly would love to see you guys upload on Sundays as well but that's just my opinion. Anyway, as usual. Thank you, Mr. Dan and Sifu Octavio for the great content. Would love to see the intermediate drills soon ❤. Cheers!
Excellent stuff Thanks Dan…JKD…
Like Bruce Lee said, "I don't fear the man that practiced 1000 kicks. I fear the man who practiced 1 kick a day for 1000 days!" Very true what you said about quality at the end Dan. Your Sifu has some nice kicks.
You were so obsessed with haters Dan.you better dont care them because eventually there are millions of people who likes you and you got an army of lovers
Thanks for the videos we have no dojo in our town And you help us, my son and I to work out on the weekends great father & son time. It also builds confadence that he could defend himself. and it keeps dad in better shape. I'm trying to make a playlist for a workout routine.
🖐🙂Five stars !! More please 👊👺
i believe if someone practice in six month in punch or kicking it very be like muhammad ali and bruce lee . put lot hard work into it in your training don't ever give up to become the strongest just like your dream
he said to kick with hands to the back, den when he demonstrated it fast his hands are infront
From business to kicking drills that is something different area dan
Great video Sifu Lok and Sifu Quintero. I love how you started the video with the kick. It reminds me of being a kid watching Bruce Lee kicking at the camera, Very powerful and precise. This was a great tutorial on kicking and i love doing it slowly. Its not as easy as it looks esp when you slow it down but it does give you balance, strength and power. Seeing this video reminds me of what Bruce Lee once said " I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times."
There is a great fighter that was known during Bruce Lee's time, his name was Bruce "Superfoot" Wallace. The interesting thing about him is he was a world champion (Professional Karate Association world full-contact karate champion. He was the Professional Karate Association Middleweight Champion kickboxer for almost six years.) in full contact fighting but had only three kicks he used when fighting. If anyone wants to see how effective he is look for the youtube videos. He is def an impressive fighter. But i'm sure he practiced those 3 kicks over 10,000 times. Keep up the awesome work. Cheers
wow… i saw 1 hour ago Goalcast nice story and sad at the same time
we always learning JKD thanks boht master 👍
Dan lok the type of guy to sidekick an annoying client
Forget this he should study Mexican JKD ( coming soon) 🤣🤣🤣
Wow very nice sir dan…never thought that you are a preety goid kicker too…DONT MESS WITH US ASIANS HEHE…VERY NICE SIR
Very well explained…kudos…but sir dan you act like you are just learning….hey man you cant fool me ….your fast and explosive for your weight sir dan…probably youve been training since you were a kid….i love this….MY CREATIVE STRIKING BAGUIO FIGHTERS UNITED KICKBOXING….RESPECT TO BOTH OF YOU
Would love to see you guys pressure test one of these skills against a real opponent
Please Sifus, teach Spinning Back Hook Kicks (Dragon spins his tail in movies) soon, Many thanks
Thanks for another great video. You truly motivate me Dan. Please do a video on Amazon Affiliate Marketing.
Sifu its OK getting any one in ground lock on street fight
Love all the videos Dan sir!!, keep uploading. All of the videos are very informative and interesting 🙂 thank you for all the knowledge
Hi Dan, Do you have affiliate programs? I remember you mentioned it once in one of your videos. What site is it under please?
Top 3 books you would suggest reading?
Dan pls make a video of how to make 2.500 so we can join the webinar. Answer (if )you will make it happen so i dont need to send it again in your next video
He is throwing his weight to the diction and not balancing his weight. He is lifting leg with big muscle and this is a slow the kic, Kicks that are push from toes is much fasterhe was not using his hands the right way, Not moving the hands the right way- slows you down and puts you out of balance
Great video Dan. Keep it up. Martial arts is a great way to stay in shape and sharpen the mind and body. This may be the wrong video for mentioning this, but could you do a video on advice for college students that wish to become extremely successful, have basic financial/entrepreneur mindset and want to contribute to the world? If there already is, my apologies. Thank you, and hope all is well.
I wish Bruce Lee would be alive and young at this time just to see him fight.
'Trying to not obstruct the camera angle' – he TOTALLY took that one from Lee's very first US audition tape where he says exactly that in exactly the same way lol! I get it tho…Lee's mannerisms are very infectious for some reason 🙂Octavio is awesome!
Thank you sifu for the tips and tricks! I appreciate the time you put into these jkd videos.
Wow, look how many subs you got. Good job Dan
When you perform a deadly kick basically it involves two joints of your legs. Click your first joint precisely like you cocking the gun then second joint will deliver the deadly impact like the bulletin. How do you achieve that. Bruce didn’t pass it down.
i have no knowledge of JKD except from these videos and i must admit how do i become a pupil. to learn first hand is better than to watch the videos but who am i kidding….that day will never come haha. dan lok if you can answer this question…if i put devoted effort into practicing from each of these videos. will it balance me as a person? note i dont really comment much…but your channel is worth the shot for an answer..thanks
Don da Mon!
I question your body kinematics that are not enhanced by Bruce Lee’s knowledge of flexed method motion.
Try Effortless MA Kicking by j. thorval ellis who in this video is 56 and kicks very fast for that age.
Training it like that may give the impression that you will allow yourself to be surrounded.
The kicking drills I do are 5 x 3 minute rounds, up & down the room: 1. Front Kick, Darting; 2. Front Kick, Stepping; 3. Front Kick, to the side; 4. Side Kick, alternate sides; 5. Side Kick, side-step darting.
(Got video of, in 2014 Martial Art playlist on my channel).
Best channel Dan and Quintero are best . I wish had them to teach me. Very nice keep that ill learn a lot from yours 🙂 And Dan what is called the beat music from intro?
Dear Dan Lok, Thank-you for making these Jeet Kune Do videos. Your videos help me (probably others) online to understand and practice the techniques better without a Sifu in the area. I hope you will continue your videos and even more hopeful that you will have a full course on MasterClass or similar. BTW, not sure if we are related but my family's last name is also Lok which is a bit rare from what I have seen. Thanks again, from your virtual student – Matt Lok
Great perspective Dan, I must incorporate this into my training. Thanks.
學了好多功夫 唔該曬 dan師傅
This remenber me sone of dance forme yes I know that your teaching Marchal Art
Dude I’m not a beginner I don’t need to hold a frame to keep me balanced that’s for guys who are not experienced and basic
